This week we will look to our dance teacher and mentors and reflect on this unique relationship. While there are many ways to dance alone with no guidance, those who have taken formal classes know how important it is to have a good teacher. Even without formal dance classes, we rarely find inspiration in just ourselves. We can also learn lessons from dancers we have never met, especially now in this digital age of information.
Who is your greatest dance mentor? What is the most important lesson you have learned from them?
I invite you to reflect on this topic however works best for you, whether it be in your dance journal, a blog, or simply in you own head. Thank you for being here, and I’ll see you back on the blog soon for the next dance journal prompt!
If you need a place to keep your dance thoughts, I’ve made my logs and journal pages available for you on my Resources Page.
